Ultra-rare, all-original 1995 3000GT VR4 Spyder for sale! Its 320 HP, twin turbo, all-wheel drive, all wheel steering, 6-speed manual transmission with adjustable suspension and aggressive styling combined with a one-button retractable hard top convertible make the Spyder a world-class exotic. Mitsubishi's 3000GT Spyder was the first retractable hard top since the 1959 Ford Skyliner. The conversion, done by American Sunroof Company out of California, resulted in one of the most reliable motorized retractable hardtops ever built. True to form, I have never had an issue with it. This little gem (known as “The Lady” in my household) is 1 of 877 VR4 Spyders ever made by Mitsubishi. It is rare to find this model in completely original condition which is why when I saw it, I had to have it. While I was never a fan of white cars, the Glacier White Pearl with grey leather interior somehow suites it. This car has been garaged all its life and has never seen snow. It is in remarkable condition and turns heads every time I take her out. Extras: Spare door panel, spare set of fog lights and various miscellaneous parts (I stripped down my old 1994 3000GT SL before I scrapped it) A full bra comes with this car. I typically use just the mirror covers and hood bra because it looks sharp, but I never let them get wet and they are taken off regularly. Timing belt was replaced at 60k. This car has been impeccably maintained by 1 mechanic who has been a close friend of mine for years. He works as an ASE certified mechanic and is the only one I trust. I would never have this thing serviced at a Mitsubishi dealership. They pretend as if this model doesn’t exist and I have no faith that they would service it properly. Imperfections: One of the radio speakers is blown. I have an original replacement, but never installed it. The shift boot is not original. I replaced it a couple of times, but the Mitsubishi material is so thin that it never holds up. I had one made from Mercedes leather which is much hardier. Original boots are easy to come by however. Some flake is evident on a couple of the rims. I was contemplating getting them re-chromed, but it just isn’t bad enough to warrant the cost. This car has the original Spyder mats, but the bottoms are deteriorating due to age. It is almost impossible to find these things on the secondary market! The teeth on the automatic antenna motor have worn out and need replacing. I currently have the antenna in the up position, so it is fully operational. This is one item not worth keeping original because any original replacement you get will wear out over time. The newer motors available are much better but I never got around to it. 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT spyder, clean chasis, California car. Top in working condition..have video but not sure how to upload. Car starts and runs, have only driven up driveway and into garage . Have not road tested, no guarantee on motor or transmission. Car has no accident history other then the theft, all panels hood, fenders etc all have original matching vin tags on them. Thermostat area has some orange around it so Im sure at one point it blew the T-stat and spewed coolant, Car was stolen and found in parking lot. Wheels stolen, has spares on now, driver fender damaged & very light door scrapes where fender touched it, side skirt damaged but I have good pearl white side skirt included, driver rear shock looks to be bent from tow strap im guessing when theft recovered, radio stolen, center console stolen but I have good console included, visors missing, very clean interior and excellent carpet, paint in excellent shape, driver seat seem split, no battery. Car will drive onto trailer for shipping - Obviously a project car, great start to your dream spyder.
